FANGS, WANDS & FAIRY DUST: Hunger Games News and Products

So, I am not into this story as I haven't read it. Maybe I will get to it eventually. I think it looks like they put a ton of money into the film and the acting seems high quality. They have certainly paid for some names. So although I lambasted it on someone else's site last week, and got called out for it, I think I may change my tune.

But, everyone is jumping all over the movie as a vehicle for the books, for related advertising (the first real trailer for BREAKING DAWN Part 2 will be released in the HUNGER GAMES pre-show clips) and whatever else can be commercially marketed. .And, I know a lot of you are interested. Since I am all about you here is some of what's around:

Lionsgate announced Tuesday that members of the cast and crew of The Hunger Games are embarking on a national mall tour. Starting on March 3, several of the actors, including Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson will make appearances during an eight-city tour, sponsored by the Microsoft Store, China Glaze, and h2O Spring Water. www.hollywoodreporter.com
